WizardHawk and OrygunQuacks,

Call a truce

Washingron year in and year  out has one of CFBs toughest schedules...

Oregon has a problem with team ducking them... No puns intended...

As much time as you spend here and you haven't yet figured out quacks and I enjoy busting each others balls. Isn't taunting and mouthing off in a non over the top way a part of rivalries? I don't hate him, nor you, but I do hate the teams you follow and I suspect the same holds true for you guys coming back our way. I have the guy on my favorites list for the love of God and he is a duck. Don't you have friends in real life you taunt when they follow other teams in various sports? Not that I claim quacks as a friend. Having a duck as a friend? /shudder

Trust me, I agree with him on the non FBS teams on the schedule. It used to be that having one hurt your rankings more than they do now and were killers in the tie breakers as you didn't get as much credit for the wins. I seem to recall a case where it cost a team a chance at the rose bowl one year back in the day, but the teams involved escapes me. I hate the way things are setup now. Who wants to go see freaking Nicholls State in your season ticket package? You pay good money to see a scrimmage and those games don't end up helping to clarify the top 10. You get 12 games a year and 1/4 of them are garbage games that just help make the networks and schools money with no real draw for the fans. Who likes that system? And if you end up losing one of those games it can send shock waves that can destroy part of a season. There is no upside to playing non AQ teams outside of reducing chances of injuries.
