Why Eli Manning is Overrated

Eli had 2 TDs in that playoff game. Special teams had 2 FGs.
Special teams were the ones who forced the fumbles.  1 led to a TD score by Eli....which means that doesn't count.

And this, right here, is why I will say once again, that you are the worst kind of homer and startingly ignorant when it comes to understanding this game.  So now a TD throw only "counts" when it is tossed on a drive that started with field position obtained via punt or kick off, huh?

The fact the drive wouldn't have continued if not for that play is the reason why it overshadows the drive.

The throw to Tyree in 42 was on 3rd down and 5, so the drive (and the game) would not have ended had he not secured the catch as you incorrectly stated.  And, there were still 24 yards to go (look it up next time.  facts are fun!).  Eli then converted a 3rd and 11, and ended it when he hit Plax for the winner.

Decision making? Eli was almost intercepted on that drive.

Understanding the game? I understand the game. If not for those fumbles, I'm not ignorant enough to believe Giants would have won those football games.

Did I or did I not say it would have been 4th down if he didn't secure the catch? Obviously you are a moron who incorrectly misread what I posted.

Was that ball a poor decision? Hell yea....it was almost picked off. Skip has said this on several occassions. Why do I bring Skip up? He works for ESPN which means his opinion means more than all of ours.
