I don't think the Giants will win a game without Eli. Steelers almost beat the Ravens, one of the best teams in the NFL without Ben.

Put down the crack pipe NOW! The Giants record would be unchanged if David Carr was the QB, and the Ravens right now are as crummy as anyone. If you watched that game last night, both teams looked like huge steaming piles of ****, and the Ravens could only beat a pile of **** by 3 points.

Not significant. Eli has more than twice the attempts Carr has. Those #'s would be worse if he had the same attempts as Eli.

Actually when you divide their career # of attempts by the # of ints they have thrown in their careers. Eli has thrown an interception every 30 attempts while Carr has thrown 1 every 31. Career #s for Eli gets worse by the second.

Thanks for hurting my feelings.....you ruined my day!! I'm not steaming at all. I'm winning the debate right now. I'm not throwing out insults because I'm losing like my opposition. I think it is funny watching NYG fans struggle vs me. Kurt Warner started like 9 games for the NYG in 2004. He was like 5-4 and gave the reigns to Eli where he won like 1 out of 7. So yes, Giants are over .500 when Eli didn't play.

That's because Kurt Warner was the starter for the NYG back in 2004, while Eli Manning rode the bench for the 1st 5 or 6 games as a rookie.....and the point is????

Huh?  When and where did this happen?...in some alternate universe? Eli Manning and the Giants have played the 49ers 3X over the past year and have beaten them twice most recently.....Can I please have some of what you're smoking FOOL?

Oh ok....if that were true then the Giants would not have drafted Eli Manning, who's helped them win 2 SBs...they would have simply done that with Kurt Warner instead......see ya stupid you sound with this right now?

Yes he was.....in the NFCC game, his 300+yds and 2TDs and 0INTs say otherwise.......in their most recent matchup, no, Eli wasn't as much of a factor, but he didn't have to be since the defense was outstanding and so was their running game.

Oh ok....if that were true then the Giants would not have drafted Eli Manning,
Kurt Warner was benched by the Rams coming off two really bad seasons. Kurt wasn't exactly young either at the time. They went ahead and drafted Eli with their top pick so he could learn from Kurt. Packers drafted Rodgers with Brett Favre still on the team in 2005. Brett led the Packers to the NFC championship game in 2007 w/14-2 record. So drafting a QB really doesn't mean much of anything. Rivers, Eli, and Big Ben all sit on the bench during the 2004 season. Just so happened that starter got hurt which is why Ben got the chance to be the starter. Turned out having one of the best rookie season ever. Is in my opinion by far!! Rivers sat a couple season behind Brees. At the time, rookies really never started. They got a chance to sit and what not. Not like now days when they just throw a rookie out there. Why did the trend start? Big Ben, Flacco, and Matt Ryan. Kurt Warner was benched after 4 losses I believe were straight. Which is the only reason they gave the reigns to Eli. Eli didn't have much success at all with that crew. He actually did worse. 1 game had a 0 passer rating. 1 of the few who has had both a perfect passer rating and a 0 passer rating game.

they would have simply done that with Kurt Warner instead......see ya stupid you sound with this right now?
Kurt Warner wasn't himself. He had some bad years in a row. When the NYG lost several in a row. They decided to go with the future.   Kurt Warner was benched by the Rams before he came there losing a QB battle to Marc Bulger. His career was never quite the same til 2008 year in Arizona.

Yes he was.....in the NFCC game, his 300+yds and 2TDs and 0INTs say otherwise.......in their most recent matchup, no, Eli wasn't as much of a factor, but he didn't have to be since the defense was outstanding and so was their running game.
How was the NFCC game decided by? How many yards did he gain in that final drive? He gained negative yardage....

There were not that great of expecations for Eli during his rookie year, as is the case with most rookie qbs.

Exactly....my point is that the NYG organization expected Manning to be their future, which is why they traded for him....and it has truly paid enormous dividends.

How was the NFCC game decided by? How many yards did he gain in that final drive? He gained negative yardage....
How many yards did Manning throw for? How many TD passes did he throw?  The DIFFERENCE in that game was the turnovers/special teams....but Manning's contribution to the win was very LARGE.

And what will you be saying about the Bucs after they get "dirty birded" by the Falcons this Sunday and your brief moment in the sun of being a playoff contender is over?   Unless your season is already about talking about any team but the Bucs?

Right out of the gate?....absolutely not.....over the course of his development?...most certainly, and that has already happened......his last name's reputation was only in place because of Peyton...that's a huge shadow to stand in...but despite Eli not being AS skilled of a qb as Peyton, he's still performed better in the post-season than Peyton and has won more SBs and playoff games.

Peyton is simply just a better qb...he's one of the greatest of all time....is this really a question?

Big Ben has already been there and done that. Like I said, Eli is still playing catch up.......
They've both been in the league the same amount of time...Ben's been there and done that no more or less than Manning has in terms of championships and playoffs.

I know Peyton is better than Eli, but according to you....playoff stats make the better QB. That is why he is supposed to be better than Ben even though he isn't.

They've both been in the league the same amount of time...Ben's been there and done that no more or less than Manning has in terms of championships and playoffs.

Ben has won and played in more playoff games. He has won more games. He has a better winning % overall. Better stats overall throughout his career. He also owns more records in the NFL. I could go on.....Eli is still playing catch up.

Let's see here....I'll cite 3 specific examples at opposite extremes for you FOOL:

1) The Patriots lose Brady to a torn ACL/MCL for the year but still finish 11-5 with friggin Matt Cassel, of all people.
2) The Colts put Peyton Manning on IR for the year due to neck surgery, and they finish 1-15 was it?
3) Last season, the Steelers go 4-0 at the beginning of the season without Pig Ben because he was suspended 4 games for raping that girl.

How's that for an analysis? Once again FOOL, you.....

NO!! NYG fans doesn't even have an idea of what they are talking about. Colts are a playoff team without Peyton this year.

So you are giving analysis why? You didn't even answer the question or even address Rodgers.

3) Last season, the Steelers go 4-0 at the beginning of the season without Pig Ben because he was suspended 4 games for raping that girl.
All the fails you put at the end of your post, but you've consistantly made mistakes in your posts. Colts were 2-14 not 1-15. Ben wasn't suspended last year for raping "that girl". How many fails can one make in a post?

Once again FOOL, you.....
