The Pac-12 Thread....

Wiz, the Boise reminds me of the Nebraska matchup with meetings so close to you. Hopefully for UW they don't pull a Nebraska and not show up because the emotional let down.

Excluding the matchup with the Cali school's what will be interesting with the playoff is to see how well the Big 12 and SEC teams travel. From an outsiders view it seems SEC schools fill stadiums within driving distance but when LSU came out to UW there was like maybe 5,000 fans and Husky Stadium wasn't close to a sellout. It will be interesting to see how passionate those fans are trying to follow their team around the country. It costs alot more money to be a fan of a Pac-12 team because of how much it costs you to attend a road. SEC or Big 12 students can hop 4 in a car and split gas and a hotel for road games but students cannot do that out west.

The culture is just different out west, which I'm learning and starting to understand why Leach sucks so bad out west and has gone back to recruiting kids from the south instead of California.

@nativewebfoot,

Got your message, sorry the Beavs won't be in San Diego where you could see them.  But, the bright side is your team is going all Alamo in Texas!!!
