Cuse BBall is cruising along nicely, like the team, see how they do against some big boys in their last BE year. They have been short a 3rd guard with this red-shirt freshman Cooney stinking up the joint but JB has left him in there to take his lumps. Hope he shakes out.

Geo, I like your playoff scenario, but I would have included Wisky and dropped NIU.  Regardless of their third place finish in their division, they did put a whuppin' on the Cornholers to claim the B1G Championship and get the Rose Bowl nod.  Just sayin'.


Phoggy, no offense, but Manti is the best defensive player this year.  I'll give you that.  However, I've always followed the belief that the Heisman is an offensive award.  Personally I believe Johnny "Football" Manziel should get it, even if he is a freshman.  I've seen all the finalists play at least twice this year, and he's the best in my book.  Just sayin'. 

Khep, the Cuse look good in basketball.  Looking forward to seeing how they do against some tougher opponents too.

Ah, Lyman, another of my OLD friends.  Again you've added thoughts to my simple one.  My move to Tejas has not a thing to do with my pick of Johnny "Football" Manziel.  Merely my objective belief, based upon what I've seen the young man do on the field, that he is displaying the best play on the football field of any other player in college football.  LOL

Trust me, I'd love to play homer and go with Braxton Miller, but the stats don't support that this year.  Maybe next.

I also never said the Heisman was an offensive players' domain by rule.  Only Charles (turncoat Ohioan) Woodson won as a defensive player.  However, his skills in scoring from kick returns and interception scores did as much to propel him to the award as his tackling, run stopping, and WR coverage talent.

Manti is the top defensive talent in the nation this season.  Butkus Award winner, no doubt, but Heisman should go to Manziel.

Sorry Phoggy...just my personal opinion.

Bills are in do or die mode, some guy bought the rest of the tickets so the game will be televised locally. If they lose to the Rams the only other home game that will be on TV will be the one in Toronto against the Seahawks. Won't much matter if I see them or not at that point.

Outside shot at making the playoffs in B&G FFL, need multiple things to happen. If I make it, look out. If I don't, good luck to those who do.
