flauge, let's be clear, Kobe is the face of the franchise - in body and in spirit.  It's not like Pau is being called out by some journeyman, or just any other player...is anybody has the right to make a statement like this, it's Kobe.

i dont need a lesson in what kobe is to the Lakers.   arguably the best laker of all time (for me it's Magic).   arguably a top 5 player of all time.   a 5 time champion.. a MVP.. i get it.  he's great.   


but no player has the right to do this in the press.   it's a bitch move.  it just is.   pau gasol was huge in those last two laker titles.   just two years ago you laker fans insisted he was better than Bosh.   do you laker fans and kobe honestly think what that public humiliation will solve pau's woes on the court?    like somehow it's that simple.   k 


im not trying to be a jerk..  but has any other superstar done something similiar to this?   the only example i can come up with is T.O. in the NFL.   seriously, can someone name another player who has done this?
