The league could continue to operate with a loss in certain markets, as long as you have a willing owner that's into losing money, but there has to be some long-term goal here. Hockey was huge in miami in the late 90's, seems like they've gone backwards, but they really need a winner there to succeed, they even had empty seats last year during playoff games.
