Don't know if anyone saw the Hurricane Sandy benefit show last night, but what I was able to catch absolutely blew me away. The Who breaking out Bell Boy, with Keith doing his lead part in the middle? Amazing!!!! Billy Joel's set was outstanding. Clapton was, well, Clapton-pure awesomeness. The Stones two-song hit and run was cool. One downer, however-the station I was tuned to went away from the show right at the finale so I missed Paul McCartney!!!! Will have to youtube it, especially the Nirvana reunion-was supposed to have been very special.
"Kinderfeld" - Marilyn Manson "Tattoo" - The Who "Ribbon In The Sky" - Stevie Wonder "I'm Goin' Down" - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band |

Pale Fire / Silver Bullets - Michael Dinner
"Tom Thumb The Dreamer" (1976) Michael Dinner made a couple of good records before going into the movie business, and his band included, among others, Bill Champlin on keyboards and Waddy Wachtel on guitars. This is a real gem of a record, if you can find it...good luck with that. |
