ONLY in the red states do you see "right to work laws" passing. The unions are being killed by Republican lead state governments/Govenors with control in both their houses.
Good!! Unions have outlived their usefulness!! A union is why Hostess is going out of business and putting people out of work (although the Union leaders still have their jobs). I was forced into a union in my last job and they were absolutely worthless!! I tried to refuse to join and spent 6 months arguing with them and refusing to sign. I was finally told that if I didn't they were going to take the union dues from my check anyway AND they were also going to retroactively take past dues for the months that I was not a member.
