Out of those sites, which one do you think is the most reliable?

I think 247Sports is the best... they are run by the people who started Rivals... Rivals is a big network but it's not what it used to be.  A lot of recruiting experts but not many great talent evaluators.  They are falling behind and they know it.  The best indicator is the 247Composite rankings which averages all the recruiting services together...  But if you were to ask me to rank them:

1. 247Sports
2. Rivals
3. Scout
4. Tom Lemming (only ranks the top 250 though)
5. ESPN

I would stick with the top 3, and ESPN is getting better but is still just downright awful at evaluating talent objectively.  The gap between  2 and the rest is rather large.  Scout actually has done some things to be better this season IMO.  I usually rely on the top 3 for  info.  they're good for their own reasons.  I would say if someone is a 4-star on at least one of the top 3 services they are legit, if they are a 4-star on all three they are more than legit.  I find 247's evaluation and transparency in their ratings much better than any other though. 

Just FYI... if Rivals included Singleton (I honestly have no idea why they don't.  Scout, 247, ESPN and Lemming all do) Nebraska's ranking likely jumps into the top 20.

i read somewhere this morning that Singleton is considered a 2012 commit because he had a committment to Wiscy last year but then had academic issues. What class was Jackson considered in when he had the same problem in 2011 and then came aboard last year?

Singleton would have been a 2012 commit if he had stayed with his initial decision in going to Wisconsin.  Since he went to a JUCO and paid for a year of school without playiing he became an eligible transfer and we got him to sign with us.  As a result most services are adding him into the 2013 ratings because that's the class he's coming in with.  He's an early enrollee, so his number will count against last year's class, but most sites (247, Scout, ESPN, Tom Lemming etc.) count him is a 2013 signee.  All except for Rivals.

Rivals is just strange then. Maybe they'll add him in the future.

Well, Singleton, along with Love, and Knevel are official Huskers, and will be part of spring ball.

Yep they are... good thing for all three of them too, because they will all need the extra time to develop and Love and Singleton could be contributing this season on defense.

Scout.com just upgraded Maliek Collins to a 4-star recruit... big bump for him.  Rivals has yet to revise their rankings, it should come within the next week or two... when they do expect Adam Taylor to get a bump to 4-star and Kevin Maurice to get bumped to a 3-star.
