Regarding the publication of names (and even addresses) of gun owners, I heard an interesting discussion on NPR. This could either have the impact of causing criminals to avoid those houses and hitting those known not to have guns, or those who target guns for thefts now know which to scope out and hit when vacant. Comments? Either way I see nothing good about this.The only benefit is for the criminal...

If I were a criiminal, why would I go after n=more guns? Being a criminal means you already have munitions.Because guns are worth money and can be sold for quick cash. A criminal probably has their own TV, but that's not going to prevent them from stealing yours if they get the chance to. |
