Funny thing is he probably will be gone by the time I'm ready to draft him and will draft Big Ben instead............Caps is the guy I'll target with a later round pick. Now that I know your stratagy my entire draft will be centered around picking him just before I think you will.

I just thought that was funny.

I figure QB ADP will be something like this next year:
Rodgers/Brees/Brady (late first and second) Peyton/RGIII (third) Ryan/Wilson/Kap/Cam/Stafford (fourth to sixth) Romo/Dalton/Eli/Luck/Vick/Rivers (there for the taking late) It'll be a crazy year for QBs. I'm not sure the "new-era QBs" will have the same success, because I think stopping guys like that will be the Manhattan Project for a lot of defensive coordinators this year... especially those in the NFC West and South (where Kap, Wilson and Cam all play, and those two divisions play each other in 2013 if I'm not mistaken). And the best way to stop them, unfortunately, is a punishing hit when they run the ball. |

Better adjust that ADP for RGIII. Just read he's have reconstruction on his LCL and they'll see how bad his ACL is while they're in there. Should be 6-8 months recovery time which puts us just about at the beginning of next season. If he doesn't get any pre-season time, he may drop a few rounds lower (or more) barring the many who will draft him too early due to their fantasy man-crush on him.

I see RG3's fantasy stock dropping due too the knee surgery and recovery time.. I feel he will be going 5th-6th round next year

While I agree RT (& Doug), RG3 still has his "arm" which is what most QB use. And AP just raised the bar on ligament recovery too. I'm sure based on this logic, he'll go before round 5.
(Not by me.) |

I'm sure based on this logic, he'll go before round 5.Agreed. He will go 3rd round IMO if he suffers no setbacks. Sam |

Agreed. He will go 3rd round IMO if he suffers no setbacks. There are 2 many Qbs for RG3 to go in 3rd after the injury to his knee.. Yes RG3 has an amazing arm and I feel he can become just a pocket passer if he really needed to. But his legs are what make him so dangerous; and his running ability opens up the passing game more than anything. I just feel coming back from a knee injury expectations need to be downplayed alil atleast for the first half of next season for RG3. |

With that said I bet he goes around the 3rd round in most drafts (probably not in either of ours though unless TKO takes a chance again..........lol). Sam |
