Calling all Lakers haters...

The Lakers will make the playoffs.  I honestly don't care what seed they are - if they are healthy, whole and have had a chance to form some real chemistry by the time the postseason gets underway I don't care who they oppose - the Lakers are going to be an extremely tough out that I'd just as soon take my chances with.

Unfortunately, they will never have that because they are comprised of players that are injury prone and/or prone to whining about injuries and sitting out games when they're really just frustrated. No Laker Hater claimed that the Lakers as formed weren't good as a concept. We all simply realized that they would never play enough games together to become good. This run of injuries isn't a stroke of bad luck, it was EXPECTED by any non-Laker fan that has watched the involved players the last three years. This is EXACTLY what I assumed would happen.

What was the Lakers record with Nash, KoMe, GaSoft, and Dwight all in the lineup? Or are you going to act like Steve Blake is the missing piece. The Lakers were doing SO GREAT when healthy

Extremely tough out= Losing in 6 to LAC or OKC in round 1.

I'm sure you would be proud that the 7th seeded Lakers team managed to win 2 games against one of the best teams in the NBA. I'm sure that would put a smile on your face and make you feel like this team did not fail this year.

This is EXACTLY what I assumed would happen.

All I'm saying is that the Lakers will make the playoffs and, when the do, look out.

I'll play along...  but I'll add my own twist since I still think the Lakers will squeak in.



If the Lakers miss the playoffs OR the Heat win the Championship:  You have to sport an avatar is my choice for a week.

If neither happens (L.A. makes the playoffs AND the Heat do not win a Chip) then:  I will sport an avatar of your liking.   

Basically, I am accepting your original wager, with the caveat of, if the Heat win it all, you lose.

They can still make it but if I HAD to bet I would bet against it.  It is too bad you don't live next door to me because your over confidence would allow me to make a bet with you with some 10-1 odds or similar.
