When looking at your "Crazy Predictions" from last year it's too bad you didn't wait to make them until this year (minus Flacco, CJ1K and Turbin off the top of my head).Watch these predictions wil probably come true next year. lol

Congrats Joe as it would take a 49er shut out to keep you from winning and that probably wouldn't do it. Did anybody play the NFL playoff challange? Rules are pretty cool as there is no penalty for losing players and no salary cap, but there is a pretty cool feature............if you pass a guy from round to round you get a 2x bonus. I went from 100K to 50K to 400K in the 3 weeks..........no 2X bonus for me in week 3......lol

Though the Packers are out of the race... I can't be dissapointed in the solid performances each contest of games has shown this NFL post season. A bit shocked at the two teams left in it but I for one will be rooting on the Ravens (So glad the Pats lost) to win the big game.
Nice to read everyone is doing well and I need to get in on these side bets against Foot, seems like everyones a winner that way! haha :) -DUB- |

honestly thought that if my "eggs in one basket" theory wasn't going to work, that it would've been all of my niners that didn't make it. Totally shocked that the Ravens beat the PATS. Even took the chance that Vareen would be the big surprise in the super bowl and maybe suck out a win. oh well, congrats to everone on another great year! i'll be around much sooner next offseason..gotta see if my preseason rankings hold up against ya'lls...hell I'll even toss a few Foot-worthy ones in there (but, I'll never tell anyone to go out and actually believe 'em) ;)

I thought the phrase that pays is "Sam is smarter than [Foot], I am"?
I'm sure Sam's an intelligent guy, but so far he's only smarter than Foot. At least, that's the penalty. |

No I don't have to say it anymore at least until Feb 28 I think. Cause Sam never paid his debt on the six pack o coke he owed me from a bet we made two years ago. I said LT would be better than green. Which at the time was a foot bold predition like all my predictions cuase I never play it safe. And thus that's why I'm in this situation i guess. Anywho Sam offered me the six pack or a portion of our recent bet back. Obviuosly i chose the later.

Let me guess... Foot's top 10 QB's...
1) Cam, 2) Kaepernick, 3) Wilson, 4) Flacco, 5) RG3, 6) Palmer, 7) Brees, 8) Brady, 9) Rodgers, 10) Tannehill |

I'll go ahead and go out on a limb and say that as funny as your list is Joe if I am being honest with all of you I have to admit I believe Kaepernick has all the tools to take the number one spot. I just don't know if the Niners will be in a situation where he will have to keep throwing. But if I am being honest I hae to admit I am all in on Kaepernick to be the next QB to rise like Rodgers did when he took over for Favre.
The thing to consider here is the tools this guy has. Let's look at how hard it is to throw a 90+ mile per hour fast ball. The top pitchers in th MLB throw 90+. Then let's look at hard it is to run a 40 yard dash in 4.3 seconds. See I have always considered three major atheltic accomplishments to be the elite in sports. 1. throw a 90+ mile per hard ball. 2. run a sun 4.4 40 yard dash and 3. Dunk a BBall. Now if you took every MLB pitcher than can throw 90+ miles per hour Id be willing none of them could runa 4.3 40 yard dash. Further more if you took every RB, WR, Safey and Corner who could runa 4.4 40 yard and asked him to throw a 90+ mile per hour fastball you'd find none as well. So to be able to those to things is so increadably amazing I don't thnk we really grasp it yet. Then factor in his hieght another impossible gift to be given the gift of hieght. You mix all these things in one body and I believe you may be looking at not ony the next elite RODGERS TYPE QB but maybe the next Micheal Jordon slash Gretzgy slash Babe Ruth. That's if I'm be true about my feelings toward this guy. Now I am the foot and I do have a tendancy to make outragous predictions but this one I feel is not as outragous for some reason. But I'm going n record as saying Kap be the best Qb next year. Please forgve the over the topness of it but I will wager the same terms I had with Will or Sam to my fellow MBBRL against any QB they think will out score Kap by the end of week 13 barring injuries. And I hope no one takes me up on that bet cause ill probably lose, lol, but it's out there. Yea I'm kind of excited about the dude! Have been for two years but never thought he'd start this year. Still I drafted him in my keeper league and all I can tell you is I go to sleep every night thinking of that awesome pick. |

Brady/Brees?Rodgers types of QB's will always be a more consistant, and therefore more desireable QB#1..even if week to week, Cap is capable of putting up the same or better numbers. over the course of the entire season, the elite pocket passers will be supierior. |

Will you are absolutly correct i did say the very same things about Cam except being able to run a 4.3 40 I think Cam is in the 4.7 range which is till fast but much slower than a guy runng 4.3. I would be willing to bet that cam could come close to 90+ miles per hour with a fastball though.

I would be willing to bet that cam could come close to 90+ miles per hour with a fastball though.Maybe but where do you think it will end up? Third row? Off the side of the peanut vendor's head? Just messin with ya Foot. Sam BTW, in my money league Caps (in the games he started) averaged 21 points per game. Brees averaged 23, RGII 22 and Rodgers 22. Lots of factors with these 4 this year though. Will Brees improve with Peyton back at the helm? Can RGIII stay healthy? Will Jennings bolt? How bad did DDT miss Jennings this year? Will Caps and Crabby stay on the same page? He seemed to target Manningham a lot so will a healthy Manningham actually improve his game? |

You mix all these things in one body and I believe you may be looking at ...the next ...Gretzgy.Just who is this Gretzgy? Foot, I can appreciate the baseball, basketball and baseball comparisons. But as the resident hockey nut here on the MRBBL, don't even try to weave The Great One into the conversation. Not only did Gretzky amass dozens of records, but he broke most of them at a faster rate than the previous record holder. Most athletes need their entire career to surpass previously held records. Gretzky didn't. And to the rest of you, can you please refer to Kaepernick as Kap or Kaps instead of Cap or Caps? Again, as the resident hockey nut, I read "Caps" and drift off thinking about the Washington Capitals. Back to Foot... You need to stop making bets. Outrageous, semi-outrageous, or even seemingly logical predictions is one thing, but you are INVITING trouble with these wagers. You did the same thing with your man-crush with Tannehill. The man-crush on Cam. The man-crush on Flacco. Dude. Foot. Nick. Look at your avitar. Every one of those green puss blisters is a wager you've made. Love ya, man. |

Michael Vick could run a 4.4 40 and I bet he could throw a baseball 90 MPH also when he was in his prime. The thing about the QB position though is that it is more about intangibles. It is important to have a strong arm and it is helpful to be fast, but it is more important to be able to read defenses and make good decisions. As a fantasy QB, it is also good to play for a team that needs you to throw it a lot. The 49ers are not that. |

Jordan's great, but he's not in the conversation with Ruth and Gretzky. Basically, Caps (wait, lemme turn off Caps Lock... there we go) -- Kaps would have to have a game like he had against the Packers just about every week for his whole career to do to football what Ruth and Gretzky did to their sports.
