I think if you look at it, the teams going both have good balanced attacks as well as decent defenses.
There are always exceptions to the rule. Like in 2000 the Ravens won with a mediocre offense but stellar defense. Usually you need a good not great passing attack, as well as a good not great running game. If you can be in the top 15 of all catagories theres a good chance you'll be a SB contender. |
