I was fixin' to go to the nVidia site to hunt for a suitable G-Force vid/graphics card to replace the sub-par Radeon one in my compucker.  It's a 64 B 2 channel AMD loaded one (a refurb directly from Dell [cheap], AMD's OK but I ain't crazy 'bout Radeon stuff...HA.. me be x-pert!  NOT!).  Was gonna upgrade the Ram to the max, too.  But I (somehow) got hung-up for 2 hrs at Radio Shack? n' ordered a buncha nit-sheeet stuff... like whiurz, adaptors 'n such...jis as well tho', caint afford that important stuff, jis yet.

Today wuz trash-day.  I was awake...heard the truck acomin' & walked toward da curb.  The truck & riders-on-the-rear were jis departing.  I recognized one guy --- he was a "floater" & was on my crew for a bit--a long time ago.  I hollered, "Hey!" as the truck moved away.  He heard me. "Stay warm!", I quickly shouted.  I could barely hear him say, "Ah gotsta git wome ferce!   "Haaaa Heeee!"

Not only do I remember sixtoe, I watched him play .. A light hitting speedster

Waaaaal ... thass kinda how I 'membered him.  But kinda wrong.  So -- had to look him up.  From Arecibo, P.R.  Mostly light-hitting, particularly when he got a lil bit older.  Avgd 19HR/162gm over his career.

Had 1 BIG year for da Brew Crew (AL).  In '79 hit .321/ 28HR/ 101RBI/ .573SLG.  Even got some MVP votage.  Only stole 37 bags in 12 seasons - which surprised me.  31 times CS.  Thought he was more of a speedster.  Played a purdee solid RF though - spesshhhlee 4 a little guy - 5'10'', 165lb.  Won the GG in '79 and had 3 straight 10+ assist years in the field whilst only playing 108, 127, 135 games them years (18 assists in '78 - that's a good batch).  A .271 career hitter, which puts him right there with REG-GIE  REG-GIE  REG-GIE!  

REG-GIE  was a career .262 hitter.  Hit a coupla more dingers though, I think.
Overrated.

Howdy MUDs.... Sixto came over to the cards from the brewers right after his big year. That was a big trade, the brewers got Rollie fingers,Pete vuckovich and Ted Simmons. The Cards got sixto,Larry sorenson, Dave lapoint and David green. ...sixto was a good cardinal... Whitey says , he's so slow it takes him two trips to haul ass...

Nice win last night by the Av's jonny.....KUDOS.
