Hi in the mid 60's Thursday.  And I lied, the rain and wind is tomorrow night, which is good, since I'm going to see the Bolts tonight.  Sister is in town.  She seems to be doing well.  Houston is a bit of a culture shock to her, though.

Freezing rain yesterday and a high near 50 today. That's Farenheit for you up north. (I did hear that the one place where the two scales are the same are @ minus 40) Supposed to get even warmer I n the coming  days. Our low on Thursaday will be higher than our highs this past weekend. Crazy. We had a few mornings last week with single digits.

Four Million and Seventy - Four Thousand, Five Hundred and Two

Weather here all over the place.  Two days ago it was 76 setting an all time record high for January any date.  Tonight snow and 20''s.  Didn't watch the news.  finally hooked up a chaep DVD player to living room TV and have been watching the old 70's documantary series The World at War.  A good reminder to all that the carnage of war is brutal, indisciminate, and deadly.  Even the forces of good can't always play nice in wartime.  A must see for those who never saw it.
