RR1, I believe the Steelers offered Wallace Brown's contract last year but he wasn't having it. I think he wants V-Jax money and that might be too much. I do agree that he'll be missed, taking the top off the coverage. That's why Goodwin will be perfect replacement.

Wallace leaving will hurt but paying him what he thinks he is worth would hurt the team even more.  Ive made no secret about the free agent I want but we cant afford him and that is Bowe.  I think you send Ben and Haley and try to get him to play cheap for a few years with the knowledge the Steelers willt ake care of you down the line and you get a top tier qb to throw to you.  YEah like I said ti wont happen but I wish it would.
