i got tired of drinking thats how bad it was

lol no, no yellow shirts. i'm back to 10 miles a day - usually the first 3 or so i'm wearing some unspecified non-yellow shirt, and the remainder are normally topless

golf = teh suck. i'd honestly rather watch bowling.

and that reminds me - what the tkachuk is with announcers splicing the name of the sport into their sentences pointlessly? when someone makes a nice drive or approach, do i really need to be told "that's a great GOLF shot" ? are they worried i thought it was a cricket pitch?

and it's apparently contagious - the other night, i'm enjoying center ice (while it lasts), and one of the announcers states "that was a great hockey shift". uhhhh, thanks, i was thinking i was watching jai alai. appreciate u restoring proper focus for me, numbnuts.

On a lighter note, I spent the last two days in our nations capital doing some tests and Im happy to announce that Im cancer free for four years now. So I got that going for me....

i have no problem watching tennis. aside from that, my next choice would be bull riding.

lol lulz, I must confess, I haven't watched much poker on tv lately but I see it on the programming for the Ocho, CSN, etc..   I didn't know they allow those athletes competitors to smoke on tv, you know because gambling is good for you but smoking is bad. 

I thought Dog racing and poker would be appropriate "official ditch tv sports".

Drinking can be a sport in itself, no lulz? THere are endurance and speed competitions. You can play quarters (do kids even play that anymore) and its not called soda pong.

Absolutely fantastic news, all-pgh! I like lulz mention of Jai Alai earlier as the official sport of the ditch. Or curling.

yeah, Curling works for me.  anything a hot chick can do while squatting, bending over or working a household cleaning apparatus... i'm in.

Spezza out for 2 months.    Back surgery because of a herniated disk.   Very tough loss for the Sens.     

they had a jai alai pro fire oranges at the guys on Jackass. it was pretty funny. 

They had a headline on NHL.com that the Canucks were "building mental health awareness".

Konopka is a mess with a body attached.   He has actual hockey skill but his brain won't let him use it.    Torres has a similar disease.
