Best W.R. DUO of ALL-TIME !

February 3, 2013 1:42 pm
We each have our own standard - of the guys listed only one duo got 4 rings. PS...if SB's don't count, why did you limit it to the SB era?

You're a moron, Dunder. If you limit it to JUST the SB era, then you have to include SB rings as part of the criteria. You can't say that the SB counts but it doesn't at the same time. Swann and Stallworth got 4 rings and no one else did. I knew who "Crazy Legs" Hirsh was. Did you? Some of us actually care about what happened before we were born. We don't think history began with US.

I got the question, Dunder but you contradict yourself. You're saying SB's count but they don't. You're also saying that anything prior to the SB's doesn't. That's just goofy. Why not narrow it even futher to the last few years when passing really opened up? Why bother including anything not this century? Forgiv me here but isn't the title of the thread, "Best WR duo of ALL TIME"? Doesn't ALL TIME include BEFORE the SB era? I'm sorry you can't comprehend the subject of your own THREAD. <br />

JT & JR = Are responsible for creating the term RAC. John Taylor doesn't get a lot of credit but if you go back watch Jerry's long runs, Taylor was out front clearing the lane

Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks will be on their by the time they retire.  Eli's a better quatreback than the ones those other guys had to work with expect for maybe Joe Montana.  If Eli wins 2-3 more super bowls he'll be as good as Joe maybe better if he gets 3.

No, you don't. If you think that catching passes from Joe Montana and Steve Young is as tough as catching passes and being on teams with Jeff George, Dante Culpepper and Todd Bouman are the same, you are (once again) deluded.

And if you aren't considering how much harder it was in the 70's than it was in the 80's to catch passes - YOU'RE the one that's deluded. Or are you under the assumption that catching balls prior to the Mel Blount rule was just as easy as before it? Thank you. Now sit down.

I will do no such thing, especially when instructed by the likes of you. First you say that sb rings need to come in to play, then you say that it is the pre-mel blount rule that should be factored. One doesn't have to do with the other pertaining to this debate. Typical spin on your part.

No. When comparing individuals of a position, or in this case the line up of starters at a position you should never include team accomplishments. Only children, fantasy football players and sportswriters/bloggers that have never put on a set of pads are that incompetent.
