Who's Left on the Recruiting Trail?February 4, 2013 11:54 am
Well... that makes me 0 for 1... Devin Scott chose to stay at home and go to UL-Lafayette... word on the street is that he was a back up plan for Veii and didn't end up with a committable offer. All indications point to Veii being N on signing day which would give us 26 commits... Johnson commits and that would b 27.

Been working the twitter wires and phones today on why Scott would choose La-Lafayette over Nebraska. there were two reason that were the most prominent - 1. He just wanted to stay close to home and 2. (one that is far more intrigueing) He never had a committable offer from Nebraska in the first place and because Veii and Johnson are silent "commits" Nebraska said they wouldn't take his commit.
Now I don't know if this is true, but we will find out tomorrow when Johnson announces where who he chooses between Nebraska and Arkansas. Stay tuned... the next three days will be interesting. |

I gotz to say, I know is there one moment in the Sun, but I am getting a little tired of Johnson's antics. Commit to someone already, and stop trying to make it into some damn thriller movie.

Multiple reports from Rivals and Scout.com saying that Johnson has committed to Nebraska this morning. 247Sports hasn't verified it yet.... but they will soon.
In other news Trevell Dixon appears to be headed for Arizona State in a decommit right out of the blue. Rivals is reporting this, but other sources haven't verified. Will keep you posted. |
