But I will point out to call someone an idiot while they voice their opinion about a preceived classless act, is on the verge of classless too from the author of: Buffalo fans have no clue classless is as classless does. |

but the Forth, you have been classless for so long you forgot what class is. (although that AV is changing my tune on that issue.)
![]() Hey my friend, just had to pull your chain. Good to see you around the chats. It's hockey season again, and all is well on the homefronts from around the league. It's good to see the strike didn't kill the fans intensity. |

Bill he may have put himself in that situtation, but I don't think the Bruins would have done anything. Too many suspensions being handed out. and they were already down 3 with another game coming with only 1 day off between games, I believe. So little time to recoup.
Let's just end by saying. I don't like Ruff, haven't since his whinning in 2006 playoffs and I believe he knew what he was doing. But water under the bridge. |

I think the NHLPA would call you classless for calling the lockout a strike.

I wouldn't care what Fehr calls it, He caused it by not negotiating last season when asked to prepare a proposal. But then a lot of the blind don't understand that.

He won a championship is high school but the imprtant question is, did he score FOUR touchdowns in a SINGLE game? i doubt it. i bet he's no al bundy. |

Nope forth, won the championship in Baseball. But all that matters is knowing what it takes to become a champion, something some on this board haven't a clue of.

The only solution to this is to have Neely beat up Ruff again.that was awesome!!! Neely beat the heck out of him!!! some ppl have no clue, its been said already but why would Buffalo send out ANY of there top players, up 2 with like 20 seconds left. and then someone says the Bruins sent out there enforcers.....we sent out our 3rd/4th line....think it was campbell, kelly, and macdermit.....ok lane is a tough guy, but i wouldnt call kelly and campbell enforcers lol. its no big deal, Ruff is an idiot and all it might do is stir the Bruins up, not something any team wants to do......dont wake up the Bear! i know one thing, bet the house the Bruins win the next meeting against the non-playoff Sabres |

bet the house the Bruins win the next meeting against the non-playoff SabresI would not bet my house; perhaps I'd consider the tool shed in the back. Remember this, the Sabres are building themselves to compete with Boston. That may not translate to success against the rest of the league, but the Lucic debacle* in Boston last year sent alarms off throughout Sabre-land. If that makes Buffalo Boston's bitc#, then so be it, (that's just a pragmatic response to what many of you may already have inferred from this comment). (* The debacle was not that he hit Miller; it was Buffalo's utter lack of a response to that.) |

well put. Seems like the Sabres front office got the memo from their off season moves.John Scott is a good hockey player. |

John Scott is a good hockey player.Well, he is good at what he's paid to do. I would say that he has already earned his pro-rated $600k for this year. Some guy in Boston will certainly remember his name. Actually, he may have a hard time remembering much at all after the beat-down he took. I hope the Regier et all start thinking about necessary moves to address the Sabres' inadequacies beyond what was needed to defeat Boston in at least one game. I do like the team's player development pipeline, however. BTW, hockeybob, I am looking forward to catching my first Blackhawks home game in March. Should I catch a Wolves game too? |

As a Sabre fan, I know and admit the Bruins are a better club.
But the cockiness of some of their fans is laughable. It's why most areas love when Boston teams lose.... I live in Boston so spare me any excuse..... hear it daily on weei and 98.5 |

But the cockiness of some of their fans is laughable.I gotta tell you, kchicub08, that I frequently enjoy speaking to fans for other teams - even the hockey team from Boston's fans - over Buffalo fans. We seem to be a cranky lot these days. What do you think accounts for that? Also, it's been said before, but it bears repeating; that's a pretty cool avatar you've got. I live in Denver so it may not be in my face that much, but generally speaking Boston has a lot to crow about. Now, if something could be done about those pesky 'canes fans that like to pop in to contribute their dribble... |

BTW, hockeybob, I am looking forward to catching my first Blackhawks home game in March. Should I catch a Wolves game too?I hope it's a good trip BillSabres. The Wolves are an easy ticket and easy to get to. A good cost-effective stop for any hockey fan. Plenty of good restaurants within a relatively short drive too, hotels with bars all around the area since they're right by O'Hare. They're now the Vancouver affiliate they used to be Atlanta's before the WPG move. Wolves are an easy franchise to be a fan of. All State Arena is a pretty good AHL arena. |

But I will point out to call someone an idiot while they voice their opinion about a preceived (sic) classless act, is on the verge of classless too.I purposefully delayed responding to this as I expected, correctly as it turns out, that others would notice the irony of this comment. Originally I debated using the word "idiot"; I certainly do not use the word loosely. It was really more of a rhetorical ploy; I made explicit that which you had made implicit in your message screeds, (that's where the pathetic whimpering factors in). An objective reader is provided a bit of a jolt to look back on exactly what is being discussed, and how it has been expressed. Objectively speaking, you did call Buffalo fans idiots. I do not really care as it all fun and games in message board hockey discussions. You seem incapable of making insightful comments, and after a while, well, I felt like calling you out on that. |

Bill, one of these days you will learn what percieved is all about. Not once did I state what you said was classless. I just stated others may look at it that way. But if it hurt your little feelings. Then sorry 'bout that. I bring more insightful information on these boards than you ever thought of. NOTICE I SAID BOARDS, MEANING ALL THE MESSAGE BOARDS, |
