A's Make HUGE MISTAKE

I'll be honest and say I'm kind of shocked upon hearing about this trade...

Just read that the plan is for Nakajima to be the SS? So, what's the message to Sizemore? And to a lesser extent, Weeks? Sure, it gives the us a lot of flexiblility all over the infield, but it seemed to me that it was pretty much stabilized prior to this deal.

On top of that, here are the things I really don't like about it.
-We give up Carter but for some reason still have Barton.
-We give a division rival players who will now look forward to proving the move was a mistake, now and in the future.
-Lowry is currently eligible for free agency after '14...wonder what, if any long-term plans we have for him.
-Moss has added pressure to perform...who do we fall back on if he can't handle it load? (please don't answer Barton)

Once this sinks in, maybe I'll buy into it. But for now, this A's fan is not happy.

Rodriguez, 28, appeared in 71 games for the Astros last year. He went 2-10 with a 5.37 ERA in 70 1/3 relief innings, though he did strike out 78 total batters. He'll join the bullpen mix in Oakland.

Where does the reporter who wrote this think Rodriguez will actually fit into our 'pen?

It's going to be hard enough finding roster spots for Noberto, Resop and Scribner, and maybe even Figueroa...so where does a guy with a 5.37 ERA figure to fit in?
