That's a myth. There last competitive season was 2003, which ending a four-year run of winning at least 90 games. And attendance was dropping in 2003. It was down 15% from 2001.

I based which teams (and in this case, which entire state) should have their sports teams contracted based on the horrificness of the fanbase supporting the team


If you want, you can move the Rays to Pittsburgh, rename them the Pirates, and then contract the current Pirates

And us AL East fans need the Sox around. Yankees didn't do anything this offseason so we're banking on a ton of easy wins over the Sox to help us out
