Niners fans need to shut up

They were still aggresive on offense.

No, they weren't. They were calling a lot of running plays and not trying to take deep shots - which is what got them the lead. They took their foot off the gas and it allowed the 49er's back in the game.

PS..I find it odd that, during the break they asked the commentators how this would affect the players and they all said, "It wont. These men are professionals." yet all you here say that it did.

The 49er's started to play with a sense of urgency they didn't have before. It worked.

You said you had no definative proof as to what I would say had the Ravens lost.

So that game is already over.

You lost.

But you're an Eagles fan - you're used to that.

Wrong as usual, Rayne. The Ravens ran plenty in the 1st half too. In fact, on their 2nd TD of the game, they ran 6 times on the drive and threw 3 passes. Just one of those throws was a deep one. In another drive that resulted in the fake FG try, they ran half the time and threw a bunch of short passes. and of course the 4th TD was a return. Two of the other scoring drives featured deep plays.

They called 15 run plays (not counting the fake try) and 15 pass plays, 7 of which were deep throws, in the 1st half. He was also sacked once, so that's actually 16 pass plays.

On their first 3 drives in the 2nd half, they only ran 3 times and called 6 pass plays. They didn't start running more until their drive that began in the 3rd and ended in the 4th. It was on this drive they finally had some sustained success again and got a FG out of it. Their last drive was a long one as well.

Now, they didn't throw deep much again, but that's typically what teams do when they have huge leads. I can only imagine what a Steelers fan would have to say if the Steelers had a 28-6 lead midway through the 3rd and they were still chucking bombs downfield. You build the lead, so there's no reason to take those risks anymore. Football 101.

A few of them said that. Most said that if it did have any affect, the Niners were the ones who had something to gain. In fact, what I said earlier was from one of the analysts... that it's human nature for the Ravens players to lose that edge because now they know they're so close to winning the SB.

Very little in life is certain, Rayne. But this isn't a trial. Your behavior on here is proof enough. It's not my fault you can't put 2 and 2 together or that you can't admit what you are. You think the outage was meaningless. You hate the Ravens. You like to preach to other fanbases to tell them what they should and shouldn't do. It's a certaintly that you would call out Ravens fans for making excuses.

Like I said earlier, everything you've said so far on here was completely predictable. It's an occupational hazard of being a troll.
But you're an Eagles fan - you're used to that.
Oh boo hoo! You really hurt my feelings! But there's the loser's call. Bring up the other person's team because that's all they got.

Imagine that.....but watch NFL AM and then read TrannyTrolls posts...almost exactly what they say on the show.

Sorry honey, I'm right. I watched the game. What I saw was a Ravens team that, after the punt, got timid. They were passing but not going deep and they didn't move the ball because of it. That's when the 49er's started to come back on them.

It's the play calling that hurt the Ravens. Notice, when the 49er's closed the gap the Ravens opened up the playbook again and started to move the ball.

Don't blame the lack of power - after all, these ARE professionals. Right?

RM:

Could you tell us again about how:

L.T retired in 1981

Dick Butkus never had any sacks

And L.T. never had any forced fumbles

Please?

That stuff is comedy gold.

Really...deep shots got the Ravens the lead. Flacco had 2 balls that could have been seriously considered deep. The Jones touchdown and a 30 yard completion to Boldin. He had a 23 yarder to Dickson and 20 yards to Smith. That's 4 passes of his 22 he completed. Again I dopn't consider the 20 or 23 yard completions DEEP. Back to the NFL Network for TrayneTroll.

Well which is it, Rayne? First you said they started running the ball more (which they didn't). Now it's that they stopped throwing the deep ball. Either you didn't watch the game, your memory sucks, or you're just trying to make stuff up to suit your warped arguments. I'm guessing it's option 3.

But yeah, let's build up an enormous lead and keep chucking the ball deep and taking risks we don't need. When the Ravens built their lead, their run game and short and mid range passing game was just as effective and vital to their success. After the long delay, Flacco became very inaccurate, and the entire offense lost its rhythm and was terribly out of synch. Passes that Flacco was completing early on were now all over the place.

Of course, you haven't even addressed the other side of the ball. I suppose their defense became timid too, right? Nevermind that the Niners got an unfair advantage to collect themselves after getting buried by an inopportune special teams breakdown.

It's the play calling that hurt the Ravens. Notice, when the 49er's closed the gap the Ravens opened up the playbook again and started to move the ball.
Opened up the playbook how exactly? They didn't throw any deep passes later on either. No, they just ran the ball (which you said hurt them) and Flacco got back on track with the short range passing game. But keep on trying by throwing out these buzz words and phrases when they don't even apply. It's funny watching you constantly contradict yourself.

Don't blame the lack of power - after all, these ARE professionals. Right?
They're also human beings. It's not a bunch of mindless robots playing out there.

Hmmm, I guess Rayne has nothing else to say here. But she's good at tucking tail and leaving threads or avoiding stuff when she gets thoroughly owned.

Scuba,

the first person that declares they won an argument actually lost it.

Of course, you're used to losing since you're an Eagles fan.

Still waiting for RM to open his mouth again about:

L.T. never having an forced fumbles

L.T. retiring in 1981

Dick Butkus never having any sacks.

Actually, Rayne, the first person to drag something meaningless into an argument is the one who lost it. Which you've done several times over and in your very next sentence. You got nothing to say, so you think you insult me by bringing up the Eagles. It's a loser's ploy and the last resort of a... well, a loser!

But just tuck your tail and avoid everything. You've done nothing but post complete BS and I and others called you out on it, so of course your only course of action is to bring up the Eagles... AGAIN. And on top of that, now you're going to completely avoid it and call someone else out for something else. Oh the life of a troll!

I watched the game last night finally with announcers and Phil Simms also said it was a hold and it wasn't and it was again all in the same breath.
