Our next super utility guy

If memory serves, bravo is not a fan of TP's glove.  If I'm wrong he can correct me.  But since TP is quick, maybe an error or two on his part can be more than compensated by 20+ stolen bases.  Is that not a good trade-off, bravo?

---.Yes I am not a fan of Pastornicky's glove, and limited range. Although he does fit the role of a late innings pinch-runner, until he can make the routine plays with his glove...keep him in AAA. I'd rather have Jordan Schafer or Jose Constanza to swipe a base or 3 for us whenever needed. No. Speed for defense is never a good trade-off when you are talking about preventing runs thru solid glove work. I do like TP's wheels, just not the leather on his hand.

The Braves are built around pitching, and since we won't have Prado's glove at 3rd this season (Johnson will make Francisco appear to be the second coming of Brooks Robinson), and Uggla's glove was already a liability, Fred G. had better keep infielders & utility players that can defend instead of worrying about stolen bases from the Pastor...imho. That's why Pena was signed in the firstplace.

Also, the reason (other than $13 million per) Uggla is still the starter at 2B is because he not only has power (excluding those enormous pop-ups..lol), but he turns the DP as well as most any other current or former Braves player not named Lemke. He has the body to stay on the bag longer in order to get more on his throws by pushing off. I would not mind if the Pastor was given the shot as a 2B backup, but never as the starter because I have witnessed his fear around the bag when a collision is a possibility. When you couple that with his poor glove, I would rather see him on another team if he does not become a much better defender. Chop'em Bravos!!! Peace.
