WHY ALABAMA FOOTBALL IS SO GOOD AND WILL CONT. 2B

Wow I started typing my post when this thread had only one page lol. A little work and a lunch later and it seems my post is way out of date. I apologize if my post is a little out dated. Even more so that now that I am caught up on the full thread I see my reply to has actually left the thread. Oh well.

Nonetheless, very good read Red. One of the few threads as of late I have enjoyed reading with not much to say.

How so? 3 sanctions in the histroy of Alabama and that gives them a bad rep? and one of them is over a text book violation involving over 16 of the 19 different sports at Alabama but only the football program got hit with a the sanction. Actually Alabama is not even in the top 30 with major NCAA infractions. List is below

Alabama was on probation for 20 straight years until this year. They are labeled by the NCAA as a repeat serial offender. 2 of their 3 NC's were won on probation.

Wrong, but then again I would not expect a tOSU fan to have any kind of truth in his posts considering who they worship as an ex-coach. Mr. integrity himself was aliar and it falls on the fanbase to follow suit.

95-97, 2002 - 2007, 2009 - 2012. now notice thats only 17 years for one and that they were not on probation for the entire time. The last probation was in name only as the entire school got hit for the text-book problem. The football team only had five players involved and they met their fate the following season when they had no scholarship to play with. Yes Bama has been labeled a repeat offender, but that holds no bearing on this current coaching staff as they shoot straight and do things the right way.

1st probation: 1995-1996 / 2 years
2nd: 2002-2006 / 5 years
3rd: 2009-2011 / 3 years

10 years total...and not in straight order. Get your facts straight.

They were not placed on the repeat offender list until 2009-2011 probation over a stupid text book violation. Alabama will also be removed from the repeat offender list in 2014...nice try though
