Should the Celtics keep the team together now?

It's time.  It's finally time.  The Celtics held up the best they could for as long as they could which is commendable.  But with the stars only getting older, Allen leaving and now Rondo hurt, the basketball Gods and Father time is trying to send a message.  Last year they went to the conference finals but don't make too much of that, you have to put it into perspective.  Last year they actually did have Rondo and the Eastern Conference was severly weak (weaker than this year) due to the fact the Knicks, Nets, and Pacers were not as good last year and has improved greatly this year and Rose went down in the first game of the playoffs thus allowing the average at best 76ers to make it to the 2nd round, thus weakening the eastern conference playoffs that much more.

It's time.

But with the stars only getting older, Allen leaving

So you are saying Allen leaving is a problem, and then the stars getting older is a problem  But if Allen stayed their stars would be even older than they are now.  This critique is illogical.

Unless they pull off a deal at the deadline for a solid player....yes.

As constituted, they could even get to ECF, but no further

This is going to be a busy few weeks for trades by many teams

If they get to the second round, Im happy.  They don't have any spare parts they wont miss, so I don't see an upgrade.  Who on earth breaks up a playoff team that is on a roll?  Last year they got oh so close to the finals.  This year who knows. If somebody gets hurt for any team, it could tip the balance.  No body is giving you value for value.  This team is fun to watch, take away PP and KG, not so much.
