That being said I never felt like ND should be there and I think they proved on the field they were not the second best team in the country.
Oregon, Texas AM, Baylor and definitely Georgia all would have given them a better a game if not won out right. Those are facts not conference homerism and you need to learn the difference.

Oregon? Which team did they lose to last season? Was that the same team ND beat?Proves nothing as Oregon also beat 2 other teams that beat Stanford. ND beat Stanford doesnt mean they would also beat Oregon. |

Bama beat ND. That is a fact. All the rest... Lets face it the bar was not set hight that was an ass whipping of epic proportions. I stand by the fact that I think all of those other teams would have given Alabama a better game. Baylor made the list because at the end of the year they were playing as strong as anyone and they impressed me in their blow out wins of KSU and UCLA. So I will plead quilty of inserting opinion there but I still think Baylor would wipe the floor with ND. BTW: Stanford beat ND the refs just stole it from them. |

Yet you probably think Oregon would have done better vs Bama based on what? It's nothing more than opinion and assumption. Which is fine, but some of you all try to pass it off as a matter of fact. I guarantee you, if Oregon went undefeated in the same manner as ND, you'd say they deserved to be in the NC game too. |

Thanks for letting me know what I think and what I would say. You got any more insights into my life? Yes I think Oregon would have done better than ND did based on a better offense. No I dont think Oregon would have done any better on defense as far as holding yards and points but I do think Oregon would have gotten some takeaways based on not having as good of an overall defense but having the nations best as far as turnovers. I never said ND didnt deserve to be there however if ND would have lost a game then I think there were better options as far as other 1 loss teams. But they did and so they were there. |

Name me one fan that wouldn't think their team deserves to play for the NC if their team went undefeated? That was the point I was making. I don't care if Michigan wins every game by one point in overtime. If they go undefeated, I"m going to say they deserve to play for the NC. |
