Prayers

My friend Tracy finished her chemotherapy but that did not seem to eradicate all the cancer.  In one month, she will begin 7 weeks of radiation treatment every day Monday through Friday.  She will be unable to work and does not know yet what side effects she will experience or how effective this treatment will be on what was called a Stage 2 cancer.  Her faith is strong and her spirits are high.  Please keep Tracy in prayer that the treatments will cure her cancer.

Debbie began her chemo on Monday.  I have not yet heard how she is feeling now.  Usually the first few days after your first chemo treatment are rough.  If you are going to get side effects, they appear a day or so after the first treatment so the doctors know how to adjust the treatment and what additional drugs may be needed.  I plan to write a letter to her parents to present the gospel to them.  Deb's cancer is not curable so I want to assure them that Deb and I know where we will spend eternity and that we want her parents to join us in that assurance by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.   Please pray that I will let the Spirit work through me in wording this and that they will be open and accepting.  Please continue to pray for Debbie and Mickey and their adult children.

Thank you for being such willing servants of God and for holding me up when I'm down as well!

Be God's!

Holy Father, we lift up Sis's friend Tracy before Your Throne of Grace.  Touch her body, we boldly ask.  Stretch forth Your mighty arm and lift her up.  May she have extended days here with her family and in her place of service that she might bear even more fruit.  Minister to family and friends that they may see You at work and that they may praise Your Name.  May the good testimony be hers, and show us Your perfect plan and our place in it, we humbly ask, In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.
