Zig had it right, BB got mad in 2006 when the Colts came back, and decided he wanted to become the Colts. Little did he know, that means: playing so well in the season, breaking records, smashing people. To only play some team that smacks them in face in the playoffs. Leaving them heartbroken and their QB being called a choker. Serves the Patriots... about right

lol, that's not what I said. I don't think Bill 'wanted' to become the Colts but it was easier to instantly upgrade the offense with Moss and welker, stallworth etc than it was to rebuild the defense....6 years later, still trying to get the D fixed....ugh |

Consider this: Young people, only trained to do one thing, mostly, because most of them didn't utilize the advantage of a free college education by attending class, because no one cared if they did, as long as the team was winning... Every single Tuesday, they sit in a meeting, while coaches analyze every single thing they did on Sunday. If they performed poorly enough, the guy sitting next to you is more than happy to be the one that is rich and famous, while you go out and sell cars, and the coaches, only one step away from the same fate, are more than happy to send you there...
Point is this... The NFL is about two things. Winning, and money. The league generates better than a billion dollars annualy. This being the case, does it really surprise anyone that teams will do whatever they think they have to, to win?... Given what is at stake for these guys personally, do you really believe that any of these guys try any less hard in Week 1 against the Lions than they do in the Bowl? Of course not.. Some of you are getting sold by NFL Films, and the fairy tales they sell..It doesn't matter if the Patriots cheated. The Steelers are cheating as well. So are the Cowboys... Too much at stake not try.. So why does it matter? |

Too much at stake not try.. So why does it matter?well, apparently a team can get away with cheating and become th greatest ever in some people's minds....even ALOT of people's minds but the legitimacy and legacy of being one of the best is never there. The '72 Dolphins? One of the best. The '85 Bears? One of the best. The '91 Redskins? One of the best. The '92 Cowboys? One of the best. The '94 49ers? One of the best. The '01-'04 Cheaters? Cheated. The '06 Steelers? Refs cheated for them. The '07 non-Cheaters? 18-1. The '07 Giants? One of the best. |

Think perhaps some of the 92 Cowboys were juicing? Maybe Jimmy Johnson was trying to steal signals... Don't be naive. Every single team you mentioned cheated in one way or the other..Sounds like typical Tony Romo excuse copout there FearWare. Sorry, but you can't use that excuse. If other teams were actually CAUGHT cheating as a team to gain a DISTINCT advantage that put them over the top in a game, we'd have a name for it like 'Juice-gate' or 'Jimmy Johnson-gate'. He said he was 'trying' but it didn't mean he succeeded. And with that team he definitely didn't need to cheat except maybe against the 49ers?...but whatever. Lets just say everyone cheats and even if their caught...everyone else cheats so its ok. Stupid logic dude. |
