Carter is not the answer to start at OLB. It's not happening. |

just checked his twitter account via google and it states he has gone elsewhere, odd really...has there ever been a more under-rated LB? maybe even player- i mean think about it, he was a shoe in for a second DPOY but lost it to you know who, and to fines also i guess, well he would have maybe lost it to mathews too but that would have put him in elite company a true great. and here we are, i feel as though is lack of tact in the public arena has really cost him. time to see how good those back ups are.

I feel the same way. For all of Troy's greatness, he wasn't even the most deserving candidate on the Steelers that year let alone the entire league. Harrison was Goodell's poster bad boy in his incessant campaign to rid the league of all things football and I agree that probably played a significant role. Harrison is the only player in NFL history to record both 10+ sacks and 100 or more total tackles in a season, and he's done it twice (2008 and 2010) while having a close encounter with that milestone in '07. Goodell villainized him to the point that he was a guy whom most people outside of Steeler Nation despised and rooted against. An extra DPOY on his resume would have strengthened his candidacy for HOF status. I also feel that he or Ben should've been the MVP of Super Bowl 43. No bias here, of course. |

playing Dodgeball, he must be getting ready to drop into coverage more needs to hone in on his receiving skills ala SB 43, or since he's not allowed to kill the QB anymore he's taken his aggression out on innocent bystanders!!!! Wouldn't want to be the teams going against him in that league....................ouch!

Maybe I'm naive, but I see Troy as a lifetime Steeler. I just don't see him going to another team. I think more likely he would 1. Restructure or take a paycut, or 2. Retire.

Can you imagine standing across from him he's got the ball and he's looking right at you like this is going to hurt? Would not want to be that guy!!!

Harrison updated his Facebook status in the past hour and said he signed a one year deal and its not with the Steelers. Will wait t hear more.I hope so, that way the Steelers get some draft picks from that team for tampering with a player under contract. |

Probly not, but maybe he's trying to imply he won't re-structure or take a pay cut and therefore if the Steelers release him, he'll sign elsewhere for 1 season. On one hand he seems like the type that would take a pay decrease, but I remember he was supportive of Wallace during his hold-out, so maybe Harrison is the type to stick to his contract. I hope not.

Factoring the injury problems he's had the last 3 years and his age he must realize it isn't sensible to pay him the kind of money he'll make the next two years. Then again Harrison has done some unsensible things in the past so....I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hope he sticks for at least one more year with the Steelers because I think he has a chance of staying healthy and getting 10 plus sacks next year and being dominant in his other duties as well.
