What a joke. Got out played in all facets of the game and almost lucked into OT. 3-4 at home says it all.

Vokoun is complete garbage and has been so far all season. Bylsma has got to take blame for this by not starting Fleury tonight in a critical game against your biggest rival when you had a chance to go 9 points up on them. Instead Philly comes in here as the Pens blow another lead and gets the 2 points and they have new life and are right back in this division race. Monster win for the Flyers and a huge dissapointing loss for the Pens at home in a game they should have definitely won. Terrible loss tonight and Vokoun you are fuck****ing terrible...

Huh? Going into tonight his GAA was 2.27 and his save % was .918. He had a flat out awful game tonight, but he had been very good up until tonight this season. If there is any positive tonight, the Pens 3rd line played rather well. Sutter and Kennedy both had goals and were a combined +6 along with Bennett. They also weren't on the ice for any goals against, which is saying something in this fiasco. Of course the downside is that Giroux and Couturier simply outplayed Crosby and Malkin head-to-head yet again, which is the case about 4-out-of-every-5 games these two teams play against one another. Like I said earlier, just hope they don't match-up in the post-season. |
