Yet people continue to watch Dickie V.  Love him or hate him, he continues to pull in ratings.  I'm sure part if it is an act.  It's just like Mark May and Lou Holtz - at least part of that stuff is an act in an attempt to boost viewership.

Dick Vitale gets the big games.  Is he bringing in the viewership or is the game?

One of my best friends is a Michigan fan and he's a stand up guy so I won't hate on them...well at least him anyway haha.

I really have no reason to dislike Michigan...but still not buying into them yet. I've watched several games of theirs this year and the youth seems to get in the way at times. If they win the BIG tournament then I could change my tune.

I have complaints about my own team playiing dumb sometimes so I'm not pounding my chest here. I'd take us in a head to head match though ;)

Cardsmack, right now I'd take your Cards in a head to head match, too.   My young Michigan team needs to show some passion or some hunger for winning the games that are ahead.  They get a lot of praise from commentators for not fouling, but, IMO, they are passive, lack backbone, and don't always "fight" for the ball the way they should.  I don't want them to waste energy, and I want them to play with purpose.  But, one thing I learned from the beat down by Michigan State is that they do have to learn to stand their ground, fight for the ball, and not let the other team rattle them.  Right now, they just don't pass the eyeball test as a possible contender for the NCAA title, and that's painful for me to say.   

I'm looking forward to Vitale's retirement....
