Cowboys want to ink Romo long termFebruary 26, 2013 1:46 pm
RM, you can't have it both ways. If you're going to say that Ray Lewis wasn't convicted of murder therefore he's innocent - fine.I can have it anyway I want it. I said that Ben was 1 more rape away from a 20-30 prison sentence...so what. It seems to work for you to find someone guilty either before trial or aftyer all was adjudicated......so hello pot...meet kettle. Are you sure? Because what I'm reading is that he did it in the summer of 2000, which would mean just a few months after he was drafted by the Ravens. He was NOT a member of the Baltimore Ravens......just like I said when he was arrested and charged or the actual time and date is not an issue. TECHNICALLY he was out of college but not a member of the Ravens. you are not on the team until you sign a contract. He signed the contract on July 23...then he became a member of the team. "...quite possibly the worst QB in the history of the NFL"From what thread.....show me. remind me. Are you sure that the ONLY people that care about that are us Steelers fans? well more specifically...YOU....and I don't group YOU and Steelers fans together since that question is still up in the air. It seems to show up in your posts most of anyone I have seen on here. Now, if you're wrong on this - then YOU'RE the one that just lost a little creditibilty. Why..because I got my times and dates mixed up from memory..but you claim that.... Because what I'm reading is that he did it in the summer of 2000, which would mean just a few months after he was drafted by the Ravens.so you don't have a credibility issue you have a READING COMPREHENSION ISSUE. Wasn't it you who said this earlier....even after you READ it and didn't you have a RB that sold cocaine over his cell phone? Jamal Lewis didn't SELL anything.....He allegedly conspired....which means even though he did not actually sell, posess, or attempt to do either he had a hand in it by introducing people who were involved and had the knowledge of what they were going to do. so the answer to your question is NO....he didn't sell Cocaine via his cell phone. I think we have gotten to the root of your problem.......you have this overwhelming desire to be RIGHT all the time.......WHY? Seriously......you have this knack for beating a dead horse just to try and prove that you are right or that others are WRONG.......seriously...are you in treatment for this? and another one of your....I'm right and you are wrong issues..... Blew your claim on Jamal Lewis right out of the water.and NO..you didn't blow anything....at least anything of mine. If it makes you feel any better...go ahead and claim some sort of MORAL/MENTAL victory....I know it will make you feel much better. |

He was NOT a member of the Ravens.
Was he not drafted by them? Yes. And by the way, you were wrong. YOU said he did this when he was in college. He didn't. He had graduated. He was in the NFL. He was a member of your club. From what thread? It was either this one or the 'Who does your club lose" thread. You were commenting that the Steelers needed to overhaul since we went 8-8 this year and the previous year we were 'one and done with quite possibly the worst QB in NFL history". That's a very homeristic view. He allegedly conspired. No, he sold. That's what he plead guilty to. I'm sorry if that stings but he plead guilty to possession with the intent to distribute. Sounds like selling to me. In the eyes of the law, brokering the deal is no less a crime than actually handling the drugs. If you were really a cop, you'd know that. You can stop using the word, "Allegedly" since he plead guilty. Because I got my times and dates mixed up from memory... Forgive me but haven't you slammed me for this in the past? Weren't YOU the one that pointed out Big Ben didn't have a 90 yard drive in SB XLIII but had an 88 yard drive? Didn't you create a response JUST for saying that one sentence alone?! You the same guy that, on this very thread, told me to do some 'serious research' when you thought that I was the one that got something wrong? You told me to do some research. So I did. Turns out YOU were the one that was wrong. We all make mistakes about things, RM - even you. Even me. If you slam others for getting the slightest details wrong, you can expect it to be shoved back on you when you do the same. I treat others the way they treat me. I'll give you an example. I remember last offseason I was arguing with a Cowboy fan about Romo. He said that the Cowboys woes that year started when their RB went down prior to the AZ game. I did the research and found the Murray didn't go down with an injury until the game after the AZ game. I didn't bother pointing it out to him (not sure if it was Kyle or BD) because I got his point. He was trying to say that when their RB went down, that's when they started to have trouble. No need to quibble about minutia. I let it go. You, on the other hand, take every opportunity to do so. Responding to a post by pointing out that Big Bens drive was 88 and not 90?! Felt the need to point that out, did you? 6 feet merited a correction? Fair enough. Don't cry when someone does it to you. Now, you seem to be turning over a new leaf on this and other posting styles - I'm more than happy to join you there. To borrow a phrase from Jerry Jones, we can both 'circumsize mosquitos' or we can both choose to get the point of the other person's argument and let the small stuff go. I enjoyed yesterday. There was no hate from you so I gave none back. Hell, I actually AGREED with you on a post and said so. |

This is why people tend to ignore you, RM.
I should have known that your threads yesterday - the ones that were thought provoking and insightful - wouldn't last. I'm not going to waste my time giving you a link to something you said THIS MORNING because you know you said it. You're just being difficult - as usual. You were wrong and can't admit it so you're splitting hairs. Lewis was a member of the Ravens when he sold cocaine over his cell phone. You want to pounce on people when they make the slightest mistake and then when people do it to you, you get all pissy. |

This is why people tend to ignore you, RM.Really......alot of people were talking to me yesterday....can you say the same. your own fan base ignores you....and you run to the admins like you did on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. You wanna try and get me warned or banned....go ahead. Take your best shot. Both warnings you got me.....are GONE. Even the admins don't listen to you. I should have known that your threads yesterday - the ones that were thought provoking and insightful - wouldn't last.Don't be jealous.....one day you will get it...Besides...I made posts.....on a thread. Get it right. I'm not going to waste my time giving you a link to something you said THIS MORNING because you know you said it. You're just being difficult - as usual.Bwahahahahaha...how juvenile is that answer. so as usual I can add this to my list of things you claim people say but can't prove. What are we up to now......30, 40, maybe even 50. go ahead......I just proved again that you run your mouth and produce no results. When I post something that is factual I generally post where it can from. It helps with people like you who say we all make things up.....but of course that is just you....making things up that is. for someone who claims to have this iron clad memory you sure don't have much memory taking things from what you read to print. You were wrong and can't admit it so you're splitting hairs.I proved I was right...somerthing you have problems doing. I proved I was right about what Lewis pled to and that I did not say something on the 2 threads you claim. Lewis was a member of the Ravens when he sold cocaine over his cell phone.Again...you have exclusive right to negotiate. He was NOT a member of the team until he signs the contract. You want to pounce on people when they make the slightest mistakeSo you are admitting you are wrong. Great that is a major step for you. Keep up the bad work. and then when people do it to you, you get all pissy.No...actually I am doing a TrannyTroll....I'm celebrating being right. Yee Haw.....see..I'm celebrating. |

I should have knownThere are a lot of things you should have known 1. A Steeler player was suspended in 2012 for PEDs. 2. A missing suit does not mean you are guilty of murder 3. The Steelers stole defensive and offensive signals...Cowher admitted it. 4. I'm not coming to Wyoming. |

Here's a short list of things YOU should have known:
1) L.T. did NOT retire in 1981, as claimed by you. 2) L.T. had forced fumbles in his career, despite your claims to the contrary. 3) Dick Butkus had sacks in his career, even though you said he didn't. 4) Jamal Lewis was with the Ravens when he got busted for selling cocaine over his cell phone - a fact YOU got wrong as YOU said he did that when he was in college. |

And by the way, you were wrong. YOU said he did this when he was in college. He didn't. He had graduated. He was in the NFL. He was a member of your club.Being under contract means you are a member of the club. He signed a contract days later after he was charged.....but of course you knew that. It was either this one or the 'Who does your club lose" thread. You were commenting that the Steelers needed to overhaul since we went 8-8 this year and the previous year we were 'one and done with quite possibly the worst QB in NFL history".Or maybe it was...What are you making for the Super Bowl or Alex Smith is getting traded. Or 1 of 100 other threads I have posted on. You said I said it..now prove it. Just went through both threads.......WOW...it's not there. Failed attempt at attention I see. No, he sold.just like Ray was guilty of Murder......Way to go Perry Mason. That's what he plead guilty to. I'm sorry if that stings but he plead guilty to possession with the intent to distribute.Wrong again.....
[http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/ Sounds like selling to me. Listen carefully.....those are just the rocks in your head. In the eyes of the law, brokering the deal is no less a crime than actually handling the drugs. Charge is different..the penalty is the same.....but of course being a deck mopper in the NAVY taught you that right? If you were really a cop, you'd know that. That's why I just corrected you. |

Was he not drafted by them? This clearly proves that you know nothing about football unless they report it on the NFL Network, ESPN or Fox. Being drafted means you have exclusive rights to negotiate a contract. You do not become a member of the team oficially until you sign a contract. If you do not sign the contract you are not a member of THAT team.....See how that works? |
