Disagree he has not played that well either they could have won some games had he not let in bad goals. Last night perfect example the 4th goal has to be saved no excuse for giving up that goal.

well id disagree....there 24th in goals per game, so looks like there scoring is the reason.....there 12th in GA, not great, but better then there scoring goals
and i wouldnt talk about the Islanders so fast, the Rangers are only 1 point ahead of them lol.....i know they have 2 or so games in hand, but the way there playing, that might not mean much

I agree scoring is a problem but when you say if not for Lundqvist they'd be worse is not accurate. The were 3rd in GA last year. Right now they are scoring as well as giving up about a half goal a game difference from last year. Lundqvist has let in same goals this year that he should not have and it has cost the team games, when you are having trouble scoring you need your goalie to come up with some big key save and right now Ludqvist isn't.

Doesn't matter how far or for that matter behind either of these teams are it's the NY rivalry. Potvin sucks will probably out live the man unless of course 30-40 years from now the new generation of Rangers fans go who the hell is Potvin.

well 12th in GA isnt all that bad but i guess you are right if your not scoring you need Lundqvist to be in the top 5 goalies or you will see what were seeing, a .500 team
