Oh hey, we Lobo fans are well aware of why we "get no respect." Mostly because at key times, the Lobos played terribly. Not just bad. After being undefeated and beating undefeated Cincinnati on their court, the Lobos lay a huge egg against a very talented St. Louis team and manage only 13 points in the first half. Then they get back on track and come home to the Pit and lose to South Dakota St team on a night where Nate Wolters goes off on them. Any loss at the Pit is a bad loss given a 90% win rate over the last 8 years. Then after winning a few more they travel to San Diego State and manage only a pathetic 9 points in the first half there. After another UNLV loss at UNLV, it seemed that the Lobos just weren't meant to be again. Now winning 7 of their last 8, they're most decidedly back on track- notably in their last two games. This team is unpredictable but has all the components and now I think they have a resume to display.
