OT definitely in play at #5

His best players are the two guys that were drafted #1 and #2 in the draft. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to get those picks right.
Maybe not rocket science, but it takes scouting.  Are you telling me there have never been busts at the 1st and 2nd pick spot?  Because that's essentially what you're saying.  Ryan Leaf, Tony Mandarich, Jamarcus Russell, Charles Rogers, David Carr, Courtney Brown, Tim Couch.   Should I go on?

I know it seems easy to think that just because a team has the #1 or #2 pick that they will get "can't miss" prospects.  But there are busts at any pick.  The notion that Stafford and CJ were "no-brainers" is laughable.  Many analysts, scouts, coaches, and GMs thought the same thing about the players I mentioned above.  Just please stop thinking that Stafford and Cj were gimmes.  Yes, they turned out good(so far) and great, but it wasn't a guarantee.  There was plenty of scouting done on these guys.

I think it does take some talent to draft in the first few picks. Can you imagine if we took Jamarcus russell? I remember people on here swearing up and down he would be the next great QB. Or how about Sanchez? There was also people on here saying he would be better than Stafford.
