Time For the Mountain West Conference to Perform

UNLV impressed me the other night with their mental toughness.

Boise State would have beaten a lot of good teams on Tuesday.  UNLV trailed by 7 at the half, caught and passed Boise, and then wham...Boise gets hot from 3 and goes up 6 again.

UNLV grinds it out, gets a stop or two, and catches and passes Boise again...then wham...the same kid for Bosie State proceeds to hit 3 straight 3-pointers, including banking one in from straight away.  Eventually the lead got up to 10.

A lot of teams would have gotten demoralized there, but to UNLV's credit, they never did.

Anthony Marshall playing his best ball of the year at the point, Mike Moser's as healthy as he's been since the dislocated elbow...the team seems to finally be playing like just that...a team.

The talent is certainly there...there are NBA caliber players on the roster.  Hopefully they keep it up and and continue peaking deep into March.
