Let free agency begin, for everyone else.....

sit back grab a lunch its gonna be along slow dance for the Raiders in Free Agency this year. I do not thinkl Reggie is going to jump in guns blazing, also I dont think he will be in any rush to cut guys as reported, except maybe one or two of them. He will look for trading partners as free agancy dries up. If your gonna  lose somebody might as well get picks for them. We are still cash strapped and do not want to mortgage the future for a overpriced top free agent.

He is gonna take his time and fill needs with mid level talent to avoid overpaying. He is gonna clear space by cutting reworking contracts, and probably work on trading some of the more managable contracts.

Its gonna be along slow ride.
I bet we will see action four or 5 times throughout free agency this year mostly nearing and after the draft.

Thanks Gkaighn...that makes alot more sense, than what has been goin on in Oakland.
Im admittingly a lil upset, over losing 2 of our best defensive players= P. Wheeler and D. Bryant.
Everyday there stock is goin up and Im wondering how they even made it to FA.
They shouldve been signed by the end of the season...but that is just my naive opinion or my common sense...lol
I cant wait til we re-join the NFL.

No need to fret fellas. King Midas Reggie has a magic calculator and rides a unicorn. He will fill the roster of hidden gems. Sapphire Jones, mike diamond, ruby lee, perry pearl. All will be signed for league minimum and all will be pro bowlers. Together they will raise the Lombardi in 2016 1/2.

and why should he? our defense is not going to be fixed in a year or with 1 guy. quite frankly, id rather he take the time and do it right. look at the 49ers. they drafted properly and now made the move for anquion bolding and i think theres a real shot they go for revis. might as well because in 2 years, that team is going to break apart because they have so much talent, its damn near impossible in a salary-capped sport to keep it together. i mean, their entire front-7 could start for the NFC in the pro bowl and they do have 3 first rounders on the OL alone. and just wait 'til kapernick's contract comes up if he keeps performing the way he has. SF needs to win in the next 1-2 years so may as well go all-in and make a play for revis. they have 14 picks in this years draft. no-way 1/2 those picks even get a shot at starting the next 2 years.

bottom-line, build a real team up first (from top to bottom) and THEN go for the 1 or 2 guys who you believe complete the side of the ball, area of the field that is holding you back.

The only guy I'd like to see us splurge for is Greg Jennings so Carson can have a #1 receiver to throw to I'm tired of watching our guys drop balls all game long. Besides the fact all of them have an issue getting open consistently. Jennings could also help this young group of receivers we have get better and teach them how to prepare for games. I know it's not going to happen but it's what I'd like to see.

Well, if he was born under a double rainbow, he's pretty much secured to be North Korea's next leader. They might think he's Dennis Rodman and make him head of state.

yeah Leppy, we are definitely on some nepotism trip...give the crown to the dim witted son, no matter if he knows what to do with it or not...lol

And I hearya Python...we are in a parallel universe aka Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Kiff, your right the niners are bursting at the seams...but I cant see them winning a ring (maybe a lil hateration on my side...lol)
but unlike the Ravens, those players are all gonna want to be paid...pre-ring.

Lester, with all the confusion...there is no way we should pickup Jennings...we will end up with another pile of Moss= an unhappy talent.

heck, Im not to confident that we will even have Palmer on the roster...chit, cut him and go with Pryor....its not like we can build around him for the future...he has maybe 2 seasons left in him.
