You have a point. I'm not sure exactly how to improve the position, but I think Adrian Wilson, while bringing some stability to the position, would still probably result in disappointment.

Why not he's big and would be a perfect strong safety definitely better then gregory. This way we can focus on cornerbacks in the draft

Adrian Wilson would bring the veteran, hard-hitting type safety we need opposite of Devin McCourty. He would also serve as a great mentor for guys like Tavon Wilson and possibly a draftee. I'd gladly take Wilson, but then I'd also gladly take any veteran safety over Gregory.

According to CSN Both Wilson and Abraham will be at Foxboro today.

Both will talk with the Patriots and according to the latest report, both will have a physical.

Under normal circumstances, players don't submit to a physical unless there's already been contract talks and things appear to be set for both sides. Physicals are a team's only way to back out of an offer, especially for a veteran.
