Well, I would agree that each and every year there is rebuilding, but as you know it isn't always the entire team. There are certain positions, or parts of the team that are continually turning over players.
But, I don't agree with the "This is a rebuilding year" philosophy as an excuse for poor play.

No doubt but would you say JaMarcus Russell is/was better than Matt Flynn? How about having Dwayne Bowe playing while Doucet was injured and LaFell couldn't figure out how to catch? How about LaRon Landry? Point is, we filled those positions but the ones that left were better in these circumstances. You're always going to fill the spots left open. Every year a team will lose players. Some don't lose as many but this rebuilding crap is not a good excuse except after a major happening (violations, etc.) Geaux Tigers! |

I had plans to go to Mardi Gras this year, but they fell though. That really stunk!! Geaux Tigers! I moved to California in '99 and then to Hawaii in '05. I have been home many times for New Years or Christmas and even for Jazz Fest. I also went home right after Katrina but I haven't been to a parade or Mardi Gras in 10 years....it sucks! I'm going to try and make an effort to go this next year. Geaux Tigers! |

Yeah, same here on the trips back home. I will probably go back during Spring Bread or Easter this year. My wife and kids have never experienced Mardi Gras, so it's been a while for me too. I guess about 15 years. Wow, I didn't really think it was that long ago. Geaux Tigers! |
