Angels place Torii Hunter on restricted list after son's arrest

The Angels have placed outfielder Torii Hunter on the restricted list for "personal reasons," the team announced. Meanwhile, NBCDFW.com reports Hunter's 17-year-old son, Darius McClinton-Hunter, has been arrested on charges related to a sexual assault in Texas.

A group of five students at Prosper High School were arrested on Monday, according to police.

McClinton-Hunter is charged with sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony, according to the report. McClinton-Hunter is one of three of Hunter's sons at Prosper High School and last year said he was hoping to go to Oregon to play football.
