Cardinals lefty Jaime Garcia will miss his next scheduled start because of discomfort in his throwing elbow.

Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a recent MRI showed no structural damage; however, Garcia, who reported some pain following his weekend start against the Phillies, will be held back until he's feeling normal. Provided he has no lingering issues, Garcia should be able start June 5 against Houston.

On the season, Garcia has a 3.78 ERA across 10 starts. The 25-year-old previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2008.
