Video: Brawl breaks out in minors after take-out slide at home plate

Well this is fun: A Double-A brawl! It's the Mobile Bay Bears (Diamondbacks organization) against the Mississippi Braves (yes, Braves organization). On the play in question, a wild pitch prompts a quasi-collision at home plate, as Mobile's Rossmel Perez slides and takes out the legs of pitcher Micahel Tarsi. Tarsi and his teammates take umbrage.

Slightly unrelated: So many minor-league team names are awesome, so isn't it kind of annoying when the affiliates have the exact same name as the major-league club? We need more Lugnuts and Intimidators and Hooks and Iron Pigs and Lake Monsters and Sand Gnats and ... OK, I'll stop now.
