Almost as predictable as the reality-show dramatics within the Boston clubhouse are the injuries. So it's little surprise that yet another Red Sock is on the disabled list. This time it's lefty Felix Doubront, who has been placed on the 15-day DL, Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.

Doubront was initially sidelined because of general fatigue, but manager Bobby Valentine recently told the Providence Journal that Doubront was also limited by a "knee situation." The move can be made retroactive to Aug. 9, when Doubront last pitched.

In 122.2 innings this season, the 24-year-old Doubront has a 4.70 ERA and 119 strikeouts against 52 walks, all unintentional.
