Photo: Space shuttle Endeavour passes by Dodger Stadium

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

Famed space shuttle Endeavour made an aerial tour around parts of California on Friday, including getting pretty close to Dodger Stadium. Here's the shot, courtesy of the Dodgers' official Twitter feed:

The shuttle -- which spent 299 days in space and orbited the Earth almost 4,700 times (CBS San Francisco) -- is strapped to the top of a modified Boeing 747 jet. This is its final tour in the air before it is moved to a museum in the Los Angeles area in October.
