No more Saturday MLB.tv blackouts starting in 2014

While MLB's forthcoming new national-television deal with FOX likely means more Wagnerian swells of intro music and continued sightings of Tim McCarver's lapels rouged with Just For Men stains and perhaps even an animated robot, it also means this ...

And the people say: Amen.

This is woefully belated, but it's still good news for the viewing public. After all, our preferences do not necessarily coincide with those of FOX programming honchos.

MLB.tv was already a great product, and in 2014 it'll get even better.
