The Nationals had a two-run eighth pave the way for a 3-2 victory against the Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLDS Sunday afternoon, but if not for Jayson Werth's excellent catch to rob a would-be Daniel Descalso two-run homer, the Nationals likely wouldn't have had the chance to win.
