David Price gets ticket for ... backing into a parking spot?
Rays ace and 2012 AL Cy Young winner David Price likes to keep fans apprised of his comings and goings on Twitter. Unlike many athletes, he's an entertaining follow. Note that when someone tried to tell him his curveball was a weakness that Price correctly pointed out to check the "saber" stats.
The latest: Price got a ticket from a police officer for a pretty absurd reason:
Just got a ticket in Miami for being backed into a spot?? Officer wrote the ticket wrong though...he put jan 4 2012...still valid ticket??

For backing into a parking spot?!?! no signs around..wrote 2012 RT @johnnyg523: @davidprice14 youre making 10 mill this year. pay the ticket

I don't care for comments like these from fans. It's not about the money when you get a ticket for a BS reason. It's the principle. I'd be annoyed at getting a ticket like this even if it only cost me a nickel.
Then again, this officer doesn't seem to have a knack for detail:
Yea that cop messed the date up completely...wrote jan 4 2012 at 12:47 this morning...it was jan 5 2013...

Maybe the cop is a disgruntled Marlins fan?
